Common Foot Ailments
The Foot and What Ails It.
Feet are wonderful feats of engineering! They are a strong yet flexible complex mechanical structure, a collection of 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles and tendons per foot. The 52 bones in your feet make up 25% of all the bones in your body. They stand, walk and run us around our daily lives.
But there are a surprising number of things that can go wrong with our feet!
Some things are environmental and some are, unfortunately, genetic and sometimes, frequently, it’s a little bit of both! Either way, you don’t always have to suffer through it. Most times we can alleviate your symptoms and get you moving again!
